To link our organization's assets to employees or detach assets from them, the initial step involves examining the Incoming Requests tab.
In this section, there is one request visible, displaying the requester's name and the date of creation.
To obtain additional details, click on the respective request.
At this stage, you can examine the specific details of the request, including comments.
Notably, as highlighted below, you have the option to either reject or approve the request.
Upon choosing to approve the request, proceed by leaving a comment, and subsequently, click once again on the "Approve" button.
To fulfill the request, linking the asset with the requester who specifically asked for an MacBook Air, navigate to the Physical Assets tab.
Subsequently, click on an available Macbook Air.
Proceed by clicking on the "Change Status" option for this asset, as indicated by the arrow below.
To allocate the asset to an employee, choose the "Deployed" option, as highlighted by the arrow below.
Subsequently, pick the requester from the dropdown list, and click on "Confirm".
At present, it is evident that a physical asset has been deployed.
To delve into the possession history of the asset, click on it and navigate to the History tab.
Displayed here is the comprehensive possession history of the asset, providing a clear record of when and to whom the asset was assigned and unassigned.
