ETA (Estimated Time of Completion)

The default Estimated Time of Completion (ETA) for document approval and signing is set at 7 days for both approvers and recipients.
However, this timeframe can be adjusted based on your preferences.
It's important to highlight that if there is no specified order for approval or signing, all approvers share the same timeframe, as do all recipients.
This feature offers flexibility in managing timelines according to your workflow needs.
Once the document editing is complete, you can click the 'Verify & Send' button, as indicated by the arrow below.
Clicking it will bring out the ETA sidebar.
The option "Change ETA for approvers" allows you to set the number of days allocated for Approvers and Recipients individually.
If you choose not to manually set a timeframe, the default ETA will remain at 7 days for each group.
The ETA represents the maximum number of days allocated to a group, whether Approvers or Recipients.
If the first group, Approvers, completes their approval before the ETA expires, the file is promptly sent to the Recipients group.
For instance, in the above image, the Approvers are given 5 days to approve the document, and the Recipients have 3 days to sign it.
If the Approvers unanimously approve the document on the second day, and the Recipients take two days to sign it, the file will be marked as complete within 4 days.
Although the maximum allotted time was 8 days for both groups combined, completing tasks ahead of ETA allows the file to progress to the next stage immediately upon the prior stage's completion.
ETA Division In a custom approval order, each approver and signing staff member is assigned their own individual ETA (Estimated Time of Completion).
The countdown initiates when the document reaches them, ensuring a step-by-step process.
This differs from the default scenario where everyone shares a single countdown.
In the example below, there's an Approver and an Approver Group, followed by two Recipients without a custom order.
If we choose the default ETA of 7 days, the first Approver gets 7 days, then the Approver Group, and finally, both Recipients share 7 days to sign the document.
In total, all parties have a maximum of 21 days (3 steps of 7 days each by default), and they can potentially complete the approval and signing process on the same day if they act promptly.
