To integrate AWS Elastic Compute Cloud into the Complico system, go to the Available Integrations page and click on the Elastic Compute Cloud icon, as indicated by the arrow below.
In the "Add Integration" window below, it is necessary to furnish the AWS Access Key and Secret Key.
Before acquiring these keys, it is essential to confirm that our Elastic Compute Cloud users in the AWS system possess Read-Only Permissions.
These permissions are vital for the Complico system to collect information from the Integration App.
Complico exclusively necessitates Read-Only access, retrieving data solely for compliance purposes, and refraining from making any alterations, deletions, or additions to the Elastic Compute Cloud system.
On the AWS Console home page below, click on the IAM (Identity and Access Management) button, as indicated by the arrow below, to access User Groups and Permissions.
If, for any reason, you do not see an IAM button on the main Console page, you can search for "IAM" in the site's search bar.
Commence the process by clicking on the "Create Group" button, as indicated by the arrow below.
On the Create Group page, after naming the group and adding users to it, choose the "Elastic Compute 2 Read Only Access" permission policy, as indicated by the arrow below.
Once the appropriate permission is selected, proceed by clicking on the "Create Group" button, as circled below.
We have ensured that our users have the necessary Read-Only permissions for Elastic Compute Cloud.
Now, click on your Admin name to open the options menu, as indicated by the arrow below.
From this menu, select "Credentials," as circled below.
Navigate to 'Access Keys' and click the 'Create Access Key' button, as indicated by the arrow below.
Return to Complico's Add Integration window and fill in a custom integration name along with the keys that were created.
Now, choose the correct Vendor that offers the Elastic Compute Cloud service.
If there is no suitable Vendor available, you can also create a new Vendor directly in the Add Integration window and click on the 'Create Vendor' button, as indicated by the arrow below.
Once all mandatory fields are completed, proceed by clicking on the 'Add Integration' button, as indicated by the arrow below.
On the Installed Integration page, you can observe your installed integrations.
In the image below, one can see an example of the Elastic Compute Cloud Integration already installed.
